People’s Choice Award ($250)
Filmmakers tell us this is the most important award they can receive. Reward them for their passionate and hard work on their film by allowing BHFF to offer this valued award.
Benefits: 1 Full Festival pass; listing in the program, screen intros, and website; and the opportunity to present the award to the filmmaker winning the People’s Choice Award during the Award Presentation at the Black Hills Film Festival.

Film Sponsorships
We are offering Film Sponsorships by individuals, businesses and also local non-profits. These sponsorships help us select films that resonate with you, connect to our audience, and offset the cost of venues, hospitality and advertising. By screening a film that aligns with your business or non-profit’s mission and values, our film festival allows for incredible local partnerships to help amplify voices and lift up others in our local community. We hope every film in the festival will have a sponsor. To help your decision on what to sponsor, trailers for the films will be available to view on this website.
Feature Film Sponsor ($500) Sponsor One Feature-Length Film (40 Mins or more)
Benefits: 2 Tickets to the session screening your sponsored film; listing in the program, on screen intros, and on the website; and live introduction at the film screening.
Short Film Sponsor ($250) Sponsor One Short Film (Under 40 Mins)

Hospitality Sponsor
Food, Beverages, Hotels, and Other In-Kind Donations
What is a film festival without live conversations with attending filmmakers? Be a part of the festival by helping us feed our guests, host and provide lodging for out-of-town filmmakers and honored guests, and keep the beverages flowing throughout the 3 day Festival. Donate catering, beverages (non-alcoholic), free or reduced hotel room rates or visitor tours of the area for our guests.
Benefits: Depending upon the value of the in-kind donation, BHFF will provide various advertising opportunities such as ads and/or logos in the Program, on the Website, in Social Media & Emails, and at the Venue on screen or in the lobby prior to film screenings.
