Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, Hair and Makeup Artists will be creating ‘BEYOND OZ’ Fantasy Characters and competing for Cash Prizes and Awards. View the creations in progress, take selfies in the world of OZ, and socialize in the reception area of the Historic Theater from 5:30-7pm. The Black Hills Film Festival opens with short Films at 7pm followed by the Fantasy Characters Presentation and Award Ceremony held on the Historic Theater Main Stage at 7:30 pm. Feature film presentation follows until 10 pm. Tickets at the door or passes online at www.blackhillsfilmfestival.org

Welcome to Opening Night of our Tenth Annual Festival! Allow your imagination to run wild as you dare to inspire a new image for the "Beyond Oz" Fantasy Total Look Competition, Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, we encourage you to take the theme of ‘BEYOND OZ’ in whatever direction your imagination leads you. Past, vintage, future, it’s your creation! " Now fly! Fly!"

Venue: Performing Arts Center- Historical Theater Entrance,

Check In time: 4:45 - 5:30 pm
Styling Time: 5:30 - 7 pm
Judging time: 7 - 7:30 pm
Main Stage Start Time-Presentation of Models and Awards: 7:30 - 8 pm
Films: 8 - 10 pm
End Time 10 p.m.
